Countdown Wrap-Up
OK, Christmas is over; and we did finish our countdown. For those who were wondering if we fell off the face of the Earth, we didn't. It has just taken us awhile to resettle after Christmas. We took a little hiatus during the holidays, but now we'll try to catch up and post more regularly. Anyway, without further ado, here's the skinny on the conclusion of our countdown.
December 18: Jonathan's pick, Mooseltoe, was a funny story about a moose who thought he had it all together before Christmas, except for one important thing.
December 19: Caleb was delighted with a peek into Elmo's Delicious Christmas.
December 20: Our last night at home before Christmas, Aaron uncovered a "Little Critter" adventure in building a snowman, Just a Snowman.
December 21: Jonathan read us the book, Counting to Christmas, which included a run-down of pre-Christmas activities.
December 22: Caleb's book, Hurry Up, Santa!, was a tale of Santa's Christmas rush.
We were honored to have a special guest narrator for this story. Pa got on the floor and read this book to us!
December 23: We learned a lot about the history of Santa Claus in Aaron's choice, Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Did you know that Mrs. Claus' name is Jessica?
December 24: Last, but not least, Jonathan opened up The Biggest Snowman Ever. If we can't have a white Christmas, I guess the best we can do is read and dream about one!
Well, that concludes our countdown. We look forward to next year!
